Refund Policy

Updated October 2026 (first effective 18 August 2026). Archanon is a trading name of Chris Wiltshire, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. This page restates clause 7 of our Licence Agreement in one place — the Licence Agreement is the governing document if the two ever read differently.

The short version

Subscriptions, monthly or yearly, renew automatically and can be cancelled at any time to stop future renewals, but the current paid month or year is not refunded. One-off Licences are no longer sold; any already bought were a single payment and are non-refundable. In both cases, this doesn't affect any statutory right you have as a consumer that can't be excluded by agreement — see "Your statutory rights" below.

Subscriptions (monthly and yearly)

Subscriptions are priced per user and billed in advance, monthly or yearly as you chose at purchase. They renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price unless you cancel first. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not refund the month or year you're currently in, which you can continue using until it ends. If you add or remove users part-way through, any charge or credit is worked out by our payment provider, Paddle, and shown to you at the time. Except where required by law, fees already paid for a billing period are non-refundable. Subscriptions bought at the former Individual, Team (small) or Team (medium) tiers carry on as they were until cancelled.

One-off Licence (no longer sold)

A One-off Licence is billed once, for a single one-time fee, and is never renewed or charged again. Because of that, it cannot be cancelled after purchase — there's no future charge to stop. Except where required by law, the fee is non-refundable. A One-off Licence covers one user, never expires, and includes every update — bug fixes, security patches and new features alike — for twelve months from purchase; after that you keep using, indefinitely, the version you had at the end of those twelve months.

Your statutory rights

Nothing on this page limits any right you have under UK consumer law that cannot be excluded by agreement. If you're a consumer buying digital content online, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 normally give you a 14-day right to cancel — but for downloadable software this right is typically lost once you start downloading or activating it, provided you were asked to consent to that at checkout and acknowledged it. If you believe your statutory rights have not been respected, contact us and we'll look into it properly rather than just pointing back at this page.

Faulty or not-as-described software

This policy covers change-of-mind and non-renewal. It doesn't limit your right to a fix, replacement or refund if the Software is faulty or not as described, under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (for UK consumers) or equivalent law in your country of residence.

How to request something under this policy

Email viewtwopro@gmail.com with your order details (the email address you purchased with, and roughly when). We aim to respond within a few working days.

This page is a plain-English summary drawn from clause 7 of our Licence Agreement, not a separate or additional set of terms. If anything here is unclear, or conflicts with the Licence Agreement, please contact us rather than assume — and the Licence Agreement governs.
